Our sod is usually harvested the same day it is delivered, so you can be assured of the finest quality! And to provide you the convenience to place your order/inquiry any time of day, from home or at work, you now have the option to Order On-Line

Make sure that all other base prep work is done prior to the delivery date of the sod!

We recommend laying sod as soon as possible upon delivery (24 to 48 hrs), especially in the late spring and summer months (June, July, and August) for optimum installation success! Sod is a living plant that requires light, oxygen and water to grow, root and complete it’s cycle. If sod remains stacked on a pallet for an over extended period of time, browning of the sod can occur from over-heating / decomposition.

Sod needs water within 30 minutes of being installed

On a hot day do not leave laid sod for more than an hour without water. On a cooler, overcast day, do not leave it for more than 2 hours. You can increase your sod laying success by watering immediately following installation! Follow our 7-step landscape sod installation guide that includes recomended site construct and prep work before sodding, sod installation and watering timeline for optimum sod installation success!
